Fatma Deniz, a clever young runaway and lock-picker, transforms from a dissatisfied cleaning lady into a revenge-driven business shark through reliving her past. Confident and smart - and desperately afraid of being trapped - she seeks control through her chameleon-like cleverness and her skill picking bike locks.

A Berlin-born star of the German voiceover industry, Derya has been lending her voice to characters in Hollywood films and television since she was 8 years old, but more recently, her face has been popping up in German television and films. In 2022, she graduated from Babelsberg University’s Konrad Wolf Acting School. BERLIN LOOP is Derya’s feature film debut in a starring role.

Windisch, Fatma’s main rival, controls the flow of stolen bikes throughout Berlin. He is a veteran of the city’s underworld who survives by giving people just enough so they become a little bit dependent on him. He has a charm and attention to detail that may mask an undercurrent of ruthlessness and control…

Also born and raised in Berlin, Thilo has played on stages around Berlin and Germany, performing with the Shakespeare Company Berlin, the German Theatre, and a variety of theatres throughout the country. His film work has won the Samsung Smartfilm-Award. Additionally, he tours with NAUTiLUS and COLLIDING GIANTS.
