A woman on the margins discovers a time portal that gives her a chance to escape the clutches of Berlin’s bike thief mafia.

When a disillusioned young cleaning woman steals a bike to make some extra cash, she unexpectedly encounters a world of bike thieves, and becomes the chief lock-picker for Berlin’s bike-theft-mafia. While the job nets her some extra income at first, she ultimately feels trapped by the nefarious boss of the gang, Windisch, and must run away to regain her freedom. But no matter how far she runs, she always winds up in the same cycle, fighting the same battle for revenge and control, unless she can learn to leave the loop.

Introducing DERYA AKYOL : Since beginning her career as a voice-over artist at the age of 8, Derya has voiced countless characters in the German versions popular film and TV shows. The Berlin-born and -raised actress, who is bilingual in Turkish and also acts in that language, can be seen in a number of German TV shows and films, most recently the ZDF/Arte film, Von und wird es keiner sein. She will headline the upcoming German version of EUPHORIA, which debuts at the Berlinale Series Market in 2025.
Freya Sande, Malte Buhr, Thilo Herrmann, Gaspar Blinit: Newcomers Freya and Gaspar will see their debut in BERLIN LOOP. Malte appears regularly on TV Magazine Aktenzeichen XY - Gelöst!/ungelöst and in a number of German TV shows, while Thilo is a full-time company member at Berlin Shakespeare Company and can be seen most recently on TV in SOKO Potsdam.
Giovanna Nodari: An Italian based in Berlin since 2012, Giovanna has directed and starred in her own award-winning short films, and can currently be seen on German TV in SOKO Stuttgart.
Josephine Boog: Find Josephine nightly at Gorki Theatre Berlin, where she is a company member.
Miguel Francisco, Bernd Egger: An Angolan-German singer and actor, Miguel has been seen in projects from German mainstay series Tatort, to the recent international release The Book of Clarence and recently completed his first lead film role in Blutspurt Antwerpen. Usually heard but not seen, Bernd has voiced countless celebrities in German voice-over, where he is most famous as the voice of Arnold Schwarzenegger.

Emily Manthei Writer/Director/Producer
Emily is an award-winning filmmaker and art director whose crowd-pleaser stories explore cultural intersections and overlapping identities. Her 2018 short film VOICE OVER, which takes place in the world of German film dubbing, won multiple audience choice awards before opening the 2019 Deutscher Synchronpreis ceremony in Berlin. Her previous screenplays have been finalists in the Bluecat, Beverly Hills, Los Angeles Int’l and Oaxaca Screenplay competitions, and BERLIN LOOP (formerly NEXT TIME) gained a place in the 2022 Female Filmmaker’s Festival Resource Lab. She is also a freelance journalist delving into Berlin’s subcultures.

SB Edwards | Executive Producer
Based in Vancouver and Los Angeles, Sara Beth (SB) Edwards has spent the last decade making bold scripted content and working in the Art Department of various films and primetime television series. SB is the Writer / Director / Producer of activist punk RomCom FALL BACK DOWN (2020) and founded Kiss Off Entertainment.

Stephanie is an award winning cinematographer who has worked on projects ranging from promos, virals, commercials and independent features to documentaries and TV series. Her work has earned her the ARRIFLEX AWARD for Best Camera and Lighting and two nominations for the Broadcast Young Talent Award.
Dominik Siegmann | Associate Producer
Dominik is a filmmaker and photographer specialising in music video production. He is also the co-chair of independent film workshop Kino Loop in Berlin, and a member of the Vienna film collective Infamous Pictures.
Elle Spencer Lewis | Composer
Elle Spencer Lewis is an Emmy-nominated composer, multi-instrumentalist, producer and performer based in Los Angeles. She has worked on award-nominated films, tv shows and interactive environments. She has composed for multiple media platforms from films, documentaries, and commercials to interactive environments.
Jenny Jo Stokka | Associate Producer
Jenny is a creative producer of theatre and film who has also worked as a production manager and coordinator, shepherding projects through all stages of production. In 2022, she completed an MA in Creative Producing at Catalyst University.
Orsi Orban | Production Designer
With a background in textile design and graphics, Orsi Orban is a production designer whose cohesive and stylish work extends from sets to costumes and jewellery. Her work has appeared in galleries, music videos, and of course online.
